IEEE 7000-series: Ethics at the Core: Responsible Engineering

This session examines the methodologies for embedding ethical values and societal considerations into the design and development of AI, autonomous systems, and advanced technologies.
Participants will explore frameworks for value-based system requirements, transparency, accountability, human oversight, and risk mitigation as defined in the IEEE 7000-series standards.
The workshop emphasizes how mastering ethical system design is essential for engineers and innovators working to create technologies that are socially responsible, trustworthy, and aligned with long-term human well-being.
PDH certificates will be provided.
